SegmentationTool
The software was developed for processing of time-lapse microscopy images obtained by the phase-constrast microscopes. Application separates the cells from the background and provide statistical information about coverage of cells in time and exports segmentation masks (black-and-white images). Results obtained by this software is in good agreement with manual segmentation done by human experts.

BioWes – central database
The software is a part of solution for experimental data and metadata management. The solution consists from several tools for protocol design, protocol filling, protocol and data management and database access and management. It is focused on the reproducibility of experiment, standardization and reusability of all parts of the experiment.
The central data storage will be realized as combination of local data storage (located on the institution) for raw data and one central data storage selected meta-data. Central data storage will be based on distributed relation ORACLE database to deal with the amount and structure of the meta-data. The data structures in central database will be defined generally to cover all the different meta-data types and to upgrade the structures in the future.

The software is a part of solution for experimental data and metadata management. The solution consists from several tools for protocol design, protocol filling, protocol and data management and database access and management. It is focused on the reproducibility of experiment, standardization and reusability of all parts of the experiment.
The main purpose of local data management tool is to organize and store the raw experimental data directly on the site of the institution (experimenter). The local data management tool will provide the functionality of data storing, searching, filtration and reporting. The tool will be connected to the Protocol generator to support the reporting of experiments on the higher level of metadata. Local data management will be realized as a specialized database that will be optimized to the type of experimental data produced by particular institution. The database with uniform interface will be modified according to the needs of the particular experimenter to reach the aims of different experiments.

The software is a part of solution for experimental data and metadata management. It is focused on the reproducibility of experiment, standardization and reusability of all parts of the experiment.
The Protocol Manager is one of the access points to a local database containing experimental data and metadata. This is an application that is installed on the local computer used for the realization of the experiments. In the case of direct access of computer to the measuring device software is able to read information about the experiment directly from the device. The software includes modules for management of protocol templates and experimental protocols. Other modules are used to design a protocol template and completing the information about the experiment and connecting the experimental data. Protocol manager allows you to run specialized plug-ins for data processing with automatic storage, the processed results back to the local database.

Template designer is graphical software for design of template of experimental protocol. It provides several components for design of the protocol template. The template is constructed based on dragand drop methods and allow the user to design any type of protocol. The tool provides an access to the standardization available on internet. The tool provides the connection to the specialized plug-ins, that can read the information about the experiment from external sources.

IStool
The software was developed for subtractive imaging in fluorescence confocal microscopy.. It works with several common image file formats (jpeg, png, bmp, tiff). Application performs image normalization, weight coeficient, and point spread function elimination. Weight coeficients are computed individually for each image pair. Program enables graphical user interface with basic functions as image view, zoom, and pan. Automatic export of the results is available.

BioWes – datamining modul LC-MS and GC-MS
The software was developed for file formats conversion, visualisation, and false precision elimination in gas/liquid chromatograpy – mass spectrometry. It enables to open/save both xml based and ascii based file formats. The software works with its internal format MZBin. Provided visualization consist of 1D, 2D, and 3D plotting. Basics functions as zoom and pan are implemented. The false precision could be detected and eliminated, with significant datapoint amount reduction. The methods work both for low res and hi res datasets.
